Red Hat released the distribution of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.4. The RHEL 7.x branch will be supported until June 2024. The RHEL 7.4 installation images are available for download only to registered users of Red Hat Customer Portal and are prepared for x86 + 64, IBM POWER7 +, POWER8 (big endian and little endian) and IBM System z architectures. The source code for the packages can be downloaded from the CentOS project's Git repository.

System requirements: The installation program requires at least 1 GB of RAM to be available on the system, regardless of whether you perform the installation interactively using the graphical or text interface, or whether you use Kickstart to automate the installation. Red Hat Enterprise Linux Atomic Host also requires 1 GB of memory to run after being installed, but requires 2 GB of RAM on a bare metal hardware (not as a virtualization host).
