RIBtec 19.0 build 22052019 (x64) | 592.4 mb
RIB Software SE. has launched RIBtec 19.0 (build 05.22.2019), is an integrated software which allows structural member design and CAD/ FEM-applications at the same time for structural and soil engineering as well as for sophisticated tunnel and bridge constructions.
FERMO - version 19.0
- The gamma and psi coefficients are now preset after creating a new user-defined combination.
- After clicking onto the button "Generate combinations" in the dialog "Group based combination generation" the tab "Combinations" is activated
- The hitherto fix consideration of the post-hardening can now be switched off optionally.
- The requirements for the deflection analysis in the cantilevervary depending on the standard, which is why now the admissible deflection is preset depending on the standard
- Watertight concrete
The changes from the new watertight concrete guideline from December 2017 have been implemented
- New input of the reinforcement layers in longitudinal direction
There are 2 alternative input possibilities now:
. automatic
. user-defined
For the automaticinput, the reinforcement layers are defined relating to TE precast element, BE precast element and TE in-situ concrete -all inner layers are taken into account for the design as fix and the outer layers as variable.
For the user-definedinput, the reinforcement layers are defined relating to TE precast element, BE top chord, BE precast element, TE bottom chord and TE in-situ concrete whether they should be taken into account as fix or variable for the design. All reinforcement layers relating to BE top chord and TE bottom chord are automatically applied as "fix".
- The input of the load eccentricities in the tabel "Loading" was not always correct for single loads
- The values for the strain plane are now issued in the detailed list for a CFRP reinforcement.
- Typified cross-section runs
For the cross-section type 11, all left cross-sections are now also assigned on the right, so that a symmetrical cross-section run is displayed. If needed (unsymmetrical run), the cross-sections can be modified afterwards.
- The moment was not labeled in the tensile force coverage diagram.
- The diagram of the prestressing forces did not capture strippings as a sudden change.
- The result graph for the decisive stress in the decompression analysis has been enhanced.
- No tensile force coverage is determined at thenotches anymore, since discontinuity areas are unsuitable for this.
- Flange widths with the value 0.0 are now also possible for the sub-type 'General, symmetric, T-beam' of cross-sections with the type "I-beam"
- A symmetrical run can now be entered more easily, by ticking the option "symmetric", for general cross-section runs.
- The possibility to enter fcm(t) after the in-situ concrete has been applied has been deactivated in the table "Time-line".
- When inserting a recess, the analysis for this is now automatically activated.
- The individual points in time of the timeline are now also listed in the tree view.
- It is now possible to generate a single-pitch roof via type 4 or type 5, by setting the haunch length equal to the system length.
- The tab "Input" was divided into "Project" and "System" in the ribbon bar.
- Bending bearing capacity for M + N
In a cross-section stressed in tension it could happen, that the cross-section was stressed "mainly in tension" (e=M/N
- If for points in time, at which a overturning analysis is to be carried out, no corresponding combinations have been generated, now a warning is displayed before the calculation
- Has a point in time for the buckling analysis been deselected in the tab "Time-line", then all associated combinations are being deleted in the dialog "Combination generation".
- In the tabular fire protection analysis are -with the input of a "fix" reinforcement (BE of top chord / TE of bottom chord) -both the vertical and lateral center distances of the reinforcement layers being determined and checked.
- Structural fire protection
A shortfall of the minimum cross-section area Ac,min was calculated and disclosed, however it was not evident that the exceedance of the utilization originated from this analysis. Now there is an additional column, in which the exceedance of the utilization is marked with a star.
- A further load case attribute "Additional load" is being offered.
- Not all accompanying actions were taken into account with their quasi-permanent value in the earthquake combination.
- The existing cross-section area for the I-section has been corrected for the fire protection analysis. Furthermore, the calculation of the minimum cross-section area is now carried out with a "bmin", which was previously determined by the existing axis distance d1.
- V cross-sections in the notch area
With an existing V cross-section or trapezoidal cross-section in the area of a notch, the program no longer terminates
- Reinforcement layers in the notch area
Only reinforcement layers within the cross-section are being considered in the area of a notch.
- Bending with longitudinal tension forces (My + Nx, Nx > 0)
It is distinguished between "mainly bending stress" and "mainly tensile stress" here. There are tensile forces in both cases -in the first case are the bending moments and in the second case the tensile normal forces the dominating stress resultants. Some adjustments have been made here, so that the reinforcement distribution is more favorable. The analysis of the bending bearing capacity for bending with normal force is always carried out with the action combinations
. leading max/min My + associated Nx
. leading max/min Nx + associated My
From this, the maximum reinforcement cross-section areas at the top and bottom are issued. For a prestressing steel girder the calculation is carried out per point in time for t=7, t=28, t=36500 days. For a reinforced concrete girder the point in time do not matter, since the stress resultants are equal. But it is calculated formal for 2 points in time, which is also connected with the deformations and creep + shrinkage.
- Saving to a different directory than the project directory is now possible when archiving a position
- An in-situ concrete layer defined in the quick input was not transferred
- When modifying an automatically generated in-situ concrete load case it could happen, that it was removed when modifying the in-situ concrete properties.
- The existing stresses in the quasi-permanent combination of actions were wrongfully assigned at the top and bottom in the limitation of the concrete compression stresses, if the existing maximum / minimum stress resultants -e.g. for solely permanent actions (G1 +P) -are equal.
- If there were reinforcement layouts with a varying input format (nxØs4 or cm2/m), no lines or points were drawn in the reinforcement graph of the cross-sections. In addition, incorrect values for the reinforcement were recorded in the table of the longitudinal reinforcement.
- The labelings in the cross-section graphs no longer overlap even for longer names
- New material tables have been created, in which the information about the consideration of the hardening is documented for the reinforcing steelas well as for the prestressing steel.
- If "Bridge construction" is selected as structure class, then a file with the preselection "bridge construction" is now generated via "File -> New".
- Thereinforcement distribution in "non-continuous" layers of haunched girders was incompletely displayed.
- The decompression analysisis automatically ticked, if an exposure class differing from XC0/XC1 has been selected.
- Manually inserted cross-sections for a girder with a general layout were not sorted according to their x-ordinate.
- If the origin and the end of a reinforcement distribution were within cross-sections of a different height, then it was displayed wrongly in the view.
- Tendons are no longer displayed with a cross, but only with vertical lines.
- The tendons in the first cross-section were not always displayed when a notch exists.
- For a double-pitch roof with a superelevated center IX cross-section, the tendons in the center cross-section were possibly not displayed.
- For a slab cross-section, the chord reinforcement in the cross-section was only displayed on the right
- For single loads or a support displacement with a position reference to the right support and a simultaneous displacement of the right support from the edge, the single load or support settlement were not applied at the support, but at the girder end.
- User-defined materials assigned to the in-situ concrete, but not to the precast element, could no longer beedited.
- Too many load case combinations for the non-linear calculation were generated, if earthquake load cases existed for only one direction.
