In accordance with our philosophy of creating innovative concepts for new sound design, we created Headphase. The headphase is filled with 1323 custom-made samples inspired by our love for nostalgic sounds. Each sound can be controlled in different ways, mix and create deep sounds and lush textures.

Each sound was specially created for Headphase, and we got our inspiration from the sound palette of the Boards of Canada group. First you can start loading presets and instantly play Headphase, or you can become creative by turning several controls to see what it will give. but the headphase is much deeper of that. It uses a new sound design concept to give you access to various parameters, simply using one of 4 knobs. This opens up a world of new sounds. Move the “Partial” knob and listen for how the sound changes and changes in unexpected ways. We wanted to make a tool that could be used for quick inspiration and for instant creation of unique sounds.
The second version has several improvements over the original one. It also includes 100 new snapshots, so we decided to treat V2 as a new tool.
Audio Design - Headphase uses a new and innovative approach to sound design called Audio Design Partials, or “Partials” for short. Headphase uses an extensive and comprehensive set of sound controls to offer you a huge range of sound capabilities. For each voice: Fliters (three different types), LFO to control the frequency of the filter, Vibrato, Tremelo, 4 different effects on the message (using 5 different effect options) and 4 different insert effects (using 20 different effect options), and more 80 different voices that can have volume, pan and tune independently.
Obviously, the instrument has a lot of control and can be used to create a truly wide range of new and unique sounds, but managing them can be just as comprehensive and complex. Therefore, Headphase eliminates this complexity with the Partials function. Partials allows you to quickly and easily change several basic sound characteristics at the same time, helping you to “explore” the sound and easily find new combinations of settings. We give you everything to combine several different controls at once.
