Anna Leman grows up with classical music. At the tender age of six, she sings Mozart and for her it is clear she wants to be on the opera stage, like her father. Also through her mother, who also works as a dancer on stage, she inherits the great love of classical music.

During school, the idea of ​​completing a classical course of studies vanishes. Anna Leman is training as a make-up artist at the State Opera in Munich. During this time, she gradually discovers the love of jazz and impressionism. Satie, Debussy, Ravel... and jazz greats from Ella Fitzgerald to Diana Krall... influence her further musical work.
