Do you want to learn how to bring images to life through animation? Then look no further! In this course, I will show you how to create, edit, and export your first animation in Adobe After Effects using advanced tools that will add a whole new dimension to any 2D image.

If you are interested in 2D animation and learning After Effects to create short scenes, then this course is for you! This method is used in the film and game industry by companies such as Blizzard Entertainment, Netflix, and Wizards of the Coast.

First, we will go over how to prepare the image for animation using Adobe Photoshop by properly slicing your image into separate layers.

I will then get into the meat of the course by teaching you step by step how to animate in After Effects for the purpose of animating 2D images.

Digital illustration skills are a plus, but not required.

A basic understanding of Photoshop is required.
