What is a platform that these criminals use to rip people off?
How do you stop them from hurting you and your loved ones?
Wrapping it up: Who to talk to if you are scammed.

Requirements
Having an understanding of what a threat assessment is would be helpful but not required.

Description
This course offers an in-depth look at scammers, how they steal from their victims, and how to prevent yourself (and others) from becoming a victim. I have designed some very interesting (and hopefully enjoyable) assignments to help aid in the retention of the material, as well as lending context to the information you are learning. If you've ever wondered how scammers and hackers operate, you just might find your answer here. The material is such that it is easy to understand for any level; there are not a lot of long, complicated terms used in this course. That means it would be easy for you to explain these points to others, if you'd like to help them or raise awareness. The more people know about scammers, hackers, grifters, and thieves, the better armed they are against becoming a victim and those they care about, too. Having said that, while this is a thorough list of the tools, tricks, and trip-ups the cybercriminals use, it does not include everything.I have to have some secrets to myself, after all. Scamming has been at an all-time high since the pandemic, and we don't want to be teaching them how to be better at ripping people off now, do we?

Who this course is for
People who are interested in learning more about how scammers are successful at stealing and how to stop them. This material is not very 'vocabulary-heavy' so there are not a lot of long fancy terms to memorize. You can take this knowledge and share it with others to stop these people.
