Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 Update 16.9.1-16.9.6 | 11.74 GB
Installing / updating Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 16.9.x (all studio editions are supported)
The distribution contains materials that allow you to install or update (if already installed) Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 to version 16.9.1+. To do this, first update the installer 16.9.0 with the help of this distribution, and then install the version 16.9.X you have in mind right away (without having to first install previous versions such as 16.9.1, 16.9.2, ... although this is not prohibited). You will not be able to go back by versions (only removing and installing the required previous version)
In short, to install / update version 16.9.X you need to: update the installer, install certificates (if this is the first studio installation on Windows) and run the installer. In detail:
1. First, update the installer. Download this distribution directly to the folder where you downloaded Visual Studio 2019 distribution 16.9.0
2. Put certificates (if necessary). It is necessary - this is if the studio installer does not have access to the Internet and you did not install the 2019 studio certificates before. Install them by running Certificates_Setup.cmd from the Administrator. However, I note that repeated / multiple installation of certificates does not spoil anything.
3. Then install 16.9.X: Run the Setup_
If you are installing not the latest version of the studio, then it is better to disable access to the Internet for the installer (otherwise there is a chance that the installer will download the most recent list of components and start installing the latest version of the studio against your will)
I also note that using this distribution, you can install any version of the studio posted here. This is the advantage of distributing (even for the case when you have a fast Internet) in front of an online installer that does not give the opportunity to install any previous version. You can roll back to the previous version of the studio only by completely deleting the studio and installing the previous version, which you already need, again.

2 GB of RAM; 8 GB of RAM recommended (2.5 GB minimum if running on a virtual machine)
Hard disk space: Minimum of 800MB up to 210 GB of available space, depending on features installed; typical installations require 20-50 GB of free space.
Hard disk speed: to improve performance, install Windows and Visual Studio on a solid state drive (SSD).
Video card that supports a minimum display resolution of 720p (1280 by 720); Visual Studio will work best at a resolution of WXGA (1366 by 768) or higher.
If your installation requires downloading some components or some other problems with the installation ... try rehashing this distribution and distribution from 16.9.0 and run the installer self-test (More \ ForIntegrity \ Check_
There may be difficulties with updating the studio. Vote on your experience in connection with this problem in the top Upgraded from the previous version of the studio without Internet access and at the same time
When upgrading the studio, prefer to do it not through the automatically pop-up offer to upgrade the studio, but by refusing it, use the " Download and update " item . This will allow you, firstly, to see if there is a problem with the update before the studio starts to remove the already installed components (in order to refuse the update in time in order to preserve its performance). Secondly, the problem with updating in this case occurs less often.
The essence of the problem with updating the studio in offline mode is that the studio installer sometimes does not see some of the downloaded components if the name of the folder from which you launched the installer differs from what it was when installing the studio. If this happens to you, then you need to either restart the installer but from the same folder, or simply rearrange the studio, or provide access to the Internet
